As you know, I walk each year for different reasons, but they all have one thing in common. HIV.
I have watched friends from getting diagnosed with HIV to passing this life to another.
The fight is strong but we need to push and push harder to get to the finish line. Each year we get closer to a cure but still need to remember those who are still impacted by HIV. Some may still require housing support, mental health support as well as medications. Together, you and I can make a difference!
HIV affects the immune system and there are many other complications that can arise for having HIV. AIDS, Caner and fatigue are just some of the many medical conditions that are common among those effected with HIV.
Your donations help these individuals with housing, mental and medical help, prescriptions and many other services. There are still many individuals who need our help.
We are closer than ever to finding a cure.
On September 10th, I am participating in AIDS Walk Portland, and I need your help!
Help me raise money for AIDS Walk Portland that supports the crucial programs and services of Cascade AIDS Project (CAP).
I am getting involved in our community's single most powerful and enduring response to the HIV/AIDS pandemic and my hope is that you will too. To make a donation on my behalf and help me reach my fundraising goal, please click on the "Donate Now" button to the right.
Thank you for your support!
