Communities of Faith Challenge

AIDS Walk Portland is seeking support from communities of faith through the Communities of Faith Challenge (CFC). We’ve created a friendly challenge that encourages our communities of faith, churches, synagogues, mosques, temples, and more to compete to raise vital funds for HIV prevention, care, and support services while building a sense of community and providing an opportunity to live out our faith in action. We make this a fun event with pre-walk parties and incentives for those who participate, along with a friendly competition.
Specifically:

  • The top two Faith Communities will receive a fabulous prize for members (TBA)

At Cascade AIDS Project (CAP), we recognize we can’t solve the HIV pandemic on our own. We know people of faith can be a force for change. We hope your place of worship’s staff, friends, and family will decide to take part in AIDS Walk Portland for a day of family fun.

Communities of faith are asked to add ‘CFC’ after their Team Name upon registration. Ex. First Baptist Church - CFC
